MIFFLIN - Carol D. Orme, of Locus Grove Retirement Village, went to be with the Lord Wednesday, May 16, 2012.
Carol was born Aug. 31, 1919, in Garrett, PA. She was a daughter of the late Albert and Bertha (Judy) Bowbly.
Carol's husband, Pastor Ray S. Orme, preceded her in death in Dec. of 2007.
She will be remembered as a woman of God, who had great love for the Lord.
She is survived by: a daughter, Nancy Kay, wife of Gary Earon, of Florida; and two granddaughters, Lynn Bateman and Stephanie Earon Costley, both of Florida.
She was the last living member of her family.
She was also preceded in death by: sisters, Olive Brown, Ruth Hady, Dean Hauger, Nellie Johnson and Carol Persing; and brothers, Ross and Guy Bowbly.
Carol graduated from Lewistown High School in 1938. She was a member of Pine Glen Christian Missionary Alliance Church.
Interment will be held at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, at the convenience of the family.
