WINFIELD - Marie A. Schrader, 92, formerly of Winfield and Westfield Terrace, Middleburg, passed away on Friday Morning, May 18, 2012, at Riverwoods in Lewisburg.
She was born March 10, 1920, in Perry County, a daughter of the late Harry and Sula (Hoffman) Haas. On March 1, 1952, she was united in marriage with Frederic H. Schrader. He proceeded her in death on Dec. 25, 1998.
She was a member of Zion Lutheran Church, Kratzerville.
Marie enjoyed gardening and embroidery and loved to cook.
She is survived by three sons and their spouses: Gary and Darla Schrader and Richard and Linda Schrader, all of Middleburg, and Carl and Vera Schrader, of Selinsgrove; 11 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and one sister, Joyce Hammaker, of Richfield.
She was preceded in death by two great-grandchildren, Emily Schrader and Ricky Kratzer; and two brothers, Carl and Orville Haas.
Friends and family will be received from 1-2 p.m. Monday, at the Hummel Funeral Home, 574 Hill St., Middleburg, followed by the funeral at 2 p.m.
Burial will follow in the Troxelville Union Cemetery.
