Barner-Haines

Monica Barner, of Mifflintown, and Tim Haines, of McAlisterville, were married on Oct. 22, 2011, at Good News Lutheran Brethren Church.

The bride is the daughter of Daniel and Carol Barner, of Mifflintown. The groom is the son of Annette Haines, of McAlisterville.

Lauren Hoover, of Mount Pleasant Mills, was the matron of honor.

The best man was Andy Haines, of McAlisterville, brother of the groom.

Bridesmaids were Alison Adler, of Port Royal; Emily Book, of Mifflintown; Courtney Geibel, of Mifflintown; and Stephanie Kline, of East Waterford.

Ushers were Bo Robinson, of Oakland Mills; Justin Frontz, of McAlisterville; Dan Wagner, of McAlisterville; and Grant Sheaffer, of East Salem.

The Rev. Michael Edwards performed the ceremony that also included: Christy Edwards as pianist; Steve Minium as vocalist and guitarist; Robert Stong as guitarist; and Dan Barner and Megan Connelly as guest book attendants.

A reception followed at Central Juniata EMS Building.

The bride is a 2005 graduate of Juniata High School and a 2009 graduate of Susquehanna University. She is employed as a fourth grade teacher at Susquenita Elementary School, Duncannon.

The groom is a 2005 graduate of East Juniata High School and a 2009 graduate of Susquehanna University. He is employed as a financial analyst at PHEAA, Harrisburg.

Following the wedding, the couple lives in McAlisterville.
