GOP only wants to keep non-citizens from voting

May 8, 2012
Lewistown Sentinel

To the editor:

In response to Eugene R. Goshorn assertion that "Republican efforts in other states to make voting more difficult for the elderly," I would like to make the following comments.

He seems oblivious to the point that the Republicans have no (zero) interest in making it more difficult for anyone to vote. Oops! I made an error! They want to make if difficult for non-citizens to vote.

To make an accusation that Republicans want to make it more difficult to vote is absurd on its face.

To vote in Pennsylvania, you must be:

How else are you going to enforce the voting law if you cannot verify that the person voting meets these requirements and is the person they purport to be?

Not to vote for and sign the Voter ID bill, brings dishonor to the Democratic party in Pennsylvania and undermines our democracy.
