YEAGERTOWN - Roxanna Gayle Gentzel, 53, of 65 Wilderness Drive, Yeagertown, went to be with the Lord on Thursday May 3, 2012, at her residence, surrounded by loved ones.
She was born Dec 19, 1958, in Greensboro, N.C., the daughter of Martha (Oehman) Lambert and the late Elwin Lambert. She is survived by her husband, David C. Gentzel, whom she married in 1992.
Also surviving are: children, Maralee G. Seeley and husband, Dan, of Reedsville, Sheldon L. Lambert, Analee G. Gentzel, and Leland C. Gentzel, all of Yeagertown; stepchildren, Shannon Christensen and Shawn Gentzel and wife, Katie, of Tallahassee, Fla.; brother, Robert L. Jenkins Sr., of N.C.; sister, Carolyn Ruth Scharf, of Colo.; and grandchildren. Lucas, Elaina and Lincoln Seeley, Cheyenne and Savannah Christenson and Cairan, Devan and Aine Gentzel.

Roxie graduated in 1976 from Choctawhatchee Senior High School and went on to graduate in 1981 from Northwest Florida University. She worked as the senior tax accountant for The Stewardship Group, in Belleville. She was a member of the Assembly of God Church, in Lewistown, where she was very active in the children's ministry. Roxie was a member of the Walnut Street Tennis Club, an aerobics instructor at the YMCA and a talented painter. In addition to spending time with her family, she enjoyed shopping, aerobics, being outside, reading and spending time with friends.
A viewing will be held from 6 to 9 p.m. Monday, May 7, 2012, at the Assembly of God Church, 106 Summit Drive, Lewistown. A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, May 9, at the Woodlawn Cemetery, in Milroy, with the Rev. Dennis C. Sproull officiating.
