YEAGERTOWN - Dorothy E. Mundy, 93, of 115 Greenwood Ave., Yeagertown, died at 9:11 p.m. Tuesday, May 1, 2012, at Arden Court, in Harrisburg.
Born May 13, 1918, in Yeagertown, she was the daughter of the late Benjamin A. and Mayme (Wirth) Boop.
She was preceded in death by: her husband, Donald C. Mundy, on June 20, 1994; her daughter, Patricia Bottcher, in June 1995; her son-in-law, Christopher Koch; and her brothers, Floyd R. and Robert E. Boop.

Dorothy is survived by: her daughters, Miss Judith A. Mundy, of Yeagertown, and Sandra Koch, of Sewell, N.J.; her son-in-law, James Bottcher, of Elmira, N.Y.; three grandchildren; and three great- grandchildren.
She was a 1936 graduate of Yeagertown High School. Early in life, she was employed at the American Viscose Corporation, Murphy's Department Store and Sears and Roebuck, and she was a bus driver during World War II.
Dorothy was a member of Yeagertown United Methodist Church, where she was superintendent of the children's Sunday school. She was the church organist for many years and was a member of the church's Sunday school class number nine.
She was a Girl Scout leader and belonged to a card club.
Her funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, May 5, 2012, at Yeagertown United Methodist Church, Mann Avenue, with the Rev. Thomas Morningstar officiating. Interment will be in Yeagertown Lutheran Cemetery.
Her family will receive friends from 10 a.m. until the time of the service at the church.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made in Dorothy's memory to the Alzheimer's Association, 3544 N Progress Ave, Harrisburg, PA 17110.
