MIFFLINTOWN - Mary C. Walton, 80, of Arch Rock, Mifflintown, died Monday, April 30, 2012, at the Bridges at Brookline.
Born June 28, 1931, in Locust Run, she was a daughter of the late Robert and Hulda (Henderson) Dressler. Her husband, John E. Walton Sr., died on Sept. 27, 1997.
She is survived by: three children, Susian Reuther and her husband, Charles, of Mayfield, John Walton Jr. and his wife, Catheanne, of Avon, Maine, and Joe Walton and his wife, Heather, of Mifflintown; siblings, Nora Stacey and husband, George, Ruth Williams, Clara Faye Whistler and husband, Lloyd, Sandy Robey and William Dressler and wife, Dixie, all of Mifflintown, and Donnie Dressler and wife, Clara, of Mechanicsburg; one half sister, Jackie Fowler, of McCoysville; nine grandchildren; twelve great- grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by one sister, Mildred Borowski.
Mary worked at Triangle Pacific, Empire Kosher and in several garment factories. She enjoyed putting puzzles together, playing cards and spending time with her family.
A memorial service will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, May 8, 2012, at Arch Rock United Methodist Church, with Pastor Jerry Miller officiating. Interment will be at the convenience of the family. There will be no public viewing.
