McALISTERVILLE - Kevin E. Miller, 39, of Millmont, was was flown to Hershey Medical Center at about 7:30 a.m. Monday, after sustaining major injuries in a one vehicle crash, Pennsylvania State Police Lewistown reports. A condition update for Miller was not available as of press time.
According to the report, Miller was traveling south on state Route 235 in Fayette Township, in a 1988 Chevrolet S10. As he was negotiating a gradual left turn, he turned sharply to the left. He traveled across the double yellow line and across the northbound lane, then traveled off the roadway and into a ditch, police said. The front passenger side of the Chevrolet struck the opposite side of the ditch, then struck a utility pole, spinning the vehicle counterclockwise, before coming to rest with the front end on the bottom of the ditch and the rear at the top.
Richfield Fire Department, Port Royal Ambulance and Thompsontown Ambulance assisted at the scene.
