Lewistown Sentinel

MIFFLINTOWN Students were evacuated from the Tuscarora Junior High School this morning because of a bomb threat, school officials said.

Richard Musselman, superintendent of the Juniata County School District, said police are in the school investigating the incident.

A note saying there was a bomb in the Mifflintown school was found this morning in a bathroom, he said.

When the police say that the building is safe, students and staff will resume school, Musselman said.

No other schools have been affected, he said.
