LEWISTOWN - During a brief workshop meeting on Thursday, the Mifflin County Commissioners announced the following agenda items for their May 3 business meeting:
A proclamation recognizing Motorcycle Safety and Awareness Month.
A purchase of service agreement for use, if needed, by Children & Youth with Clear Vision Residential Treatment Services Inc. of Montgomery.
The retirement of Charles I. Clare as payroll clerk effective April 27.
The appointment of Carl Hartley to fill an unexpired term on the Mifflin County Solid Waste Authority. Term expires Dec. 31, 2012.
The hiring of Tyler Dietz as a part-time corrections officer effective April 29.
The hiring of Dylan Luckovich as a part-time corrections officer effective May 6.
