Helen M. Heintzelman

BEAVERTOWN - Helen M. Heintzelman, 72, of Saw Mill Road, passed away at 8:34 a.m. Saturday, April 21, 2012, at the Manor at Penn Village, in Selinsgrove.

She was born May 7, 1939, in Juniata County, a daughter of the late Jacob Lauver and Grace (Martin) Lauver. On Feb. 1, 1959, she married Ralph G. Heintzelman Sr., who survives.

Helen attended Greenwood High School.

Mrs. Heintzelman was a member of Messiah Lutheran Church in Troxelville.

She was a former employee of Saylor's Shirt Factory.

Helen enjoyed making afghans and was very devoted to helping her husband with his racing and sprint car business.

Surviving in addition to her husband are: two sons, Ralph Jr. "Peanut" and Harry Heintzelman; one brother, Bill Bobb; four sisters, Ann Bender, Sara Latoche, Edith Long and Nancy Jensen; four grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by one son, William Heintzelman, two brothers, Ronald and Walter Bobb, and two sisters, Winnie and Jean.

Friends and family will be received from 9 to11 a.m. Wednesday, at Messiah Lutheran Church, in Troxelville. The funeral will take place at 11 a.m., with the Rev. Matthew D. Schuster, STS, presiding.

Burial will follow in Troxelville Union Cemetery.

Arrangements are by the Pheasant Funeral Home, 316 W. Market St., Beavertown.
