YORK - Leroy Pringle, 90, formerly of the Lewistown area, died Thursday, April 19, 2012.
Mr. Pringle lived for much of his boyhood in Lewistown Heights and, as an adult, in Maitland. He graduated from Yeagertown High School, served in the Army during World War II, attended Trinity United Church of Christ and sold insurance and mutual funds. He and his family moved in 1963 to York, where he continued his sales career.
He is survived by his wife of 65 years, Martha "Onie" Pringle; daughter and son-in-law, Marsha and Ralph Todd, of York; and son and daughter-in-law, Bruce and Dianne Pringle, of Rehoboth Beach, Del.
