BURNHAM - Dennis N. White, 61, of 540 Highland Avenue, Burnham, died at 10:47 p.m. Monday, April 16, 2012, at Geisinger Medical Center, Danville.
Born Jan. 11, 1951, in Lewistown, he was the son of Miriam E. (Snavely) White Copenhaver and the late George F. White, and his stepfather, Donald A. Copenhaver.
He is survived by: one son, Travis A. White and wife, Carol, of Lewistown; siblings, Thomas G. White, of Granville, J. Samuel White, of Granville, Robert E. White and wife, Shirley, of Reedsville, Stella Hackett, of Hughesville, Jane Aumiller and husband, David, of Milroy; stepbrothers, Jay Copenhaver and wife, Sue, of Mifflintown; Steven R. Copenhaver and wife, Janet, of Denver, Colo.; and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his daughter, Melissa L. White, in 2008.
Dennis was a graduate of Kishacoquillas High School Class of 1969 and was employed as a welder at Marlette Homes.
His funeral service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday, April 20, 2012, at the Heller-Hoenstine Woodlawn Funeral Home, 200 N. Main St., with the Rev. Carl Geissinger officiating. Interment will be in Mt. Rock Cemetery.
His family will receive friends Thursday evening from 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
