McCLURE - Dennis L. Rhodes, 56, beloved husband, father, grandfather and friend went to be with the Lord at 7:02 p.m. Saturday, April 14, 2012, at Geisinger Medical Center, in Danville.
Born Feb. 3, 1956, in Lewistown, he was preceded in death by his parents, Roman L. and Mary A. (Kauffman) Rhodes, and a grandson, Joseph T. Brehman.
Surviving are: his wife, Nancy L. (Knepp) Rhodes, whom he married on June 28, 1980; children, Nathanial L. Rhodes and companion, Stephanie Eddy, of McClure; Faith M.L. Rhodes and fiance, Travis Brehman, of Lewistown; granddaughter, Charlotte A. Rhodes, of McClure; and a brother, James W. Rhodes.

Dennis was a 1976 graduate of Chief Logan High School and Mifflin-Juniata Vo-Tech.
Earlier in life, he worked at R.A. Marker and Sons, and Cornelius Gray Construction He was the owner/operator of Rhodes Fabrication & Repair, and also worked at Metz Hatchery, and, most recently, Sound Tech, in State College.
Dennis attended Maitland Church of the Brethren.
In addition to loving his family, he also loved riding his Harley and four-wheelers.
A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, April 19, at Maitland Church of the Brethren, with the Rev. Charles Eldredge officiating.
Viewings will be held from 6 to 9 p.m. Wednesday, April 18, at Heller-Hoenstine Woodlawn Funeral Home, 200 N. Main St., Lewistown, and from 10 a.m. until the time of the service Thursday, at the church.
Interment will take place in Maitland Church of the Brethren Cemetery.
