PORT ROYAL - Pennsylvania State Police Lewistown said Timothy Joseph Dolan, 47, of Port Royal, will be cited for driving under the influence of alcohol and controlled substances and other traffic offenses after fleeing the scene of an accident that occurred at 7:46 p.m. Saturday, on Industrial Park Road in Fermanagh Township, Juniata County.

According to police, a crash occurred when Dolan was traveling west on Industrial Park Road in a 1998 Ford Escort when he veered off the northern berm of the travel lane, striking a guard rail.

Police said the vehicle continued to travel along the guard rail, rolling over onto its passenger side, where it came to final rest facing west.

Police said Dolan fled the scene prior to police arrival. Police said after Dolan was located, he was transported to Lewistown Hospital for a blood/alcohol test, which revealed his blood alcohol content to be above the Commonwealth's legal limit for DUI.

Police said Dolan will be charged with driving under the influence of alcohol and controlled substances and other traffic offenses through the office of Magisterial District Judge Barbara M. Lyter.
