MOUNT UNION - Nancy M. Heidel, 49, of Taylor Apartments, Mount Union, died at 9:10 a.m. Wednesday, April 11, 2012, at J.C. Blair Memorial Hospital, in Huntingdon.
Born April 10, 1963, in Huntingdon, she was a daughter of Miriam E. (Seaholtz) Shields Snyder, of Three Springs, and the late Sherman W. Shields. She was the stepdaughter of Emory M. Snyder, of Three Springs.
Also surviving are: five sons, Terrance D. Heidel III and companion, Anna, of Mount Union, Kevin L. Heidel, Dustin A. Miller and Jeremy R. Miller, all of St. Thomas, and Cody A. Miller, of Orbisonia; four siblings, Linda L. Fisher and husband, Jerry, of Mattawana, Larry E. Shields and wife, Wanda, of Strodes Mills, Edward A. Shields and wife, Janet, of McVeytown, and Paul B. Shields and wife, Anita, of Thompsontown; a grandson, Terrance D. Heidel IV; and a granddaughter, Tori A. Heidel.
She was predeceased by a sister, Karon R. Shields.
Nancy was Protestant by faith.
A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, April 16, 2012, at Mattawana Cemetery, U.S. 522 South, McVeytown, with Pastor Kenneth Grove officiating.
Harshbarger Funeral Home, McVeytown, is in charge of arrangements.
