To the editor:
We feel that the person to serve as state representative should be knowledgeable about state and local issues, friendly and approachable with a willingness to listen and have an understanding about the needs of the people he or she represents. We believe that Adam Harris is the candidate who best fits this description. If you ever ask Adam about a current hot issue at the state level, he can tell you about it and he can tell you how it would or would not affect central Pennsylvania. He also understands his role at the local level - to be there to help, if needed, but to also allow local officials to retain control.
We also know that Adam is always more than willing to talk with any constituent. He knows that the members of our community have relevant and thoughtful ideas that should be heard. And he and his staff work tirelessly to help constituents who come in with problems and don't know where to go for help.
Finally, Adam grew up in this community and he knows its people and their values. We feel confident that with him representing us in Harrisburg, we are in excellent hands. Please give Adam your vote on April 24.
