Urges ‘The People’ to use their vote to fix problem

April 10, 2012
Lewistown Sentinel

To the editor:

Response to The Sentinel's editorial: "Obamacare in justices' hands"

I fully agree with your understanding of the issue. However, I would make this comment:

This issue is not in the hands of the Congress, nor the President, nor the Supreme Court.

It is in the hands of "The People." If the people of this country allow their Congress, or President, or Supreme Court to fundamentally change our government in contradiction to the Constitution and surrender their freedoms, they have no one to blame but themselves.

By voting for those who take advantage of their position to enrich themselves and disregard their oath of office, they seal their fate.

Your vote matters. Not voting is not an option.
