STATE COLLEGE - Charles H. Fischer, 64, passed away April 1, 2012, at his home. He was born May 9, 1947.
He is survived by: his wife of 43 years, JoAnne Fischer; their children, Paul Fischer and wife, Jane, of Osceola Mills, J. Rebecca and her partner, Nancy Smith, of State College, Jessica M. Rakes and Brian Bauer, of Lemont; his brother, Gary T. Fischer and wife, Kathy, of Farmingdale, N.Y.; and five grandchildren, Alisha, Carter, Sara, Clayton and Trevor.
A visitation will be held from 6 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, April 4, 2012, at Koch Funeral Home, 2401 S. Atherton St., State College. A memorial service will take place at 7 p.m. Wednesday, at the funeral home, with the Rev. Ronald Kilgus, of the Wesleyan Church of Bellefonte, officiating.
