Sarah Joy Zimmerman, of Oakland Mills, and Matthew David Varner, of McAlisterville, were married on May 21, 2011, at Thompsontown Baptist Church.
The bride is the daughter of Marvin and Karen Zimmerman, of Oakland Mills. The groom is the son of David and Lois Varner, of McAlisterville.
Hannah Zimmerman, of Oakland Mills, sister of the bride, was the maid of honor.

A reception followed at Laurel Rock Farm.
The bride is a 2008 homeschool graduate. She is employed as a certified nursing assistant at North Ridge Center, McAlisterville.
The groom is a 2003 graduate of East Juniata High School. He is employed as an auto mechanic at Regester's Chevrolet and Varner's Garage.
Following a wedding cruise to the Caribbean, they live in Mifflintown.
