Kristen Hesketh and Joseph Stamplis, both of State College, are engaged to be married on Aug. 18, at Mt. Nittany United Methodist Church in State College.
She is the daughter of Mike and Jane Hesketh, of Reedsville. She is a 2000 graduate of Indian Valley High School and a 2005 graduate of Penn State University, with a degree in kinesiology. She is employed by University Orthopedics.
He is the son of Joseph and Vicky Stamplis, of Johnstown. He is a 2002 graduate of Richland High School and a 2006 graduate of Penn State University with degrees in psychology and finance. He is employed by Community Services Group.
