Raquel Ellyse Manning

McCLURE - Raquel Ellyse Manning, 24, of Ulsh Gap Road, passed suddenly on Tuesday, Feb. 21, 2012, at her home.

She was born May 16, 1987, in Lewisburg, a daughter of Ruby Danley and Ron Hauck and his wife Penny Hauck.

On May 28, 2005, in New Berlin, she married Tyson Manning, who survives.

Raquel was a 2005 graduate of Selinsgrove Area High School where she was a member and past president of the FFA.

She was employed as a manager of Taco Bell in Jacksonville, Fla., while her husband was in the Marine Corps. After his discharge from the service, she worked as a nursing aid at Danville State Hospital and then for the postal service as a carrier. Raquel then attended truck driving school for her CDL and was currently employed as a truck driver for Boring Transport Co. in Belleville.

Raquel was a member of the Veteran of Foreign Wars Post 5640, in Middleburg. She enjoyed spending time with her family and attending family gatherings and was always very helpful to anyone in need.

Surviving, in addition to her husband and parents, are: two daughters, Madison and Grace Ann; her brothers, Eric Brousious, Christopher Hauck and Ronny Hauck; her sister, Christina Brousious; paternal grandparents, Michael and Mary Hauck; maternal grandparents, Earnest and Sandra Danley; mother- and father-in-law, Terry and Terri Long; father-in-law, Mark Manning; brothers-in-law, Ezra Manning and Eli Manning and wife, Kersten; grandfather-in-law, George A. Manning Jr.; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.

Friends and family may call from 1 to 2 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 26, at Messiah Evangelical Lutheran Church, in New Berlin. A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m., at the church, with the Rev. Andrew Fitch officiating.

Arrangements are by the Pheasant Funeral Home, 316 W. Market St., Beavertown.

In lieu of flowers, contributions made payable to Tyson Manning may be sent to Susquehanna Bank, for her daughters.
