Monica Hutton, of McVeytown, and Lucas Loht, of Lewistown, are engaged to be married on March 23 at the Atherton Hotel in State College.
She is the daughter of Dr. Michael and Patti Hutton, of McVeytown. She is a 2004 graduate of Belleville Mennonite School, a 2008 graduate of George Mason University and a 2010 graduate of Liberty University. She is employed as a counselor at The Jefferson County Alcohol and Substance Abuse Council. She plans to pursue a Ph.D. in counseling beginning in the fall of 2012.
He is the son of Gregory and Jennifer Loht, of Lewistown. He is a 2001 graduate of Indian Valley High School. He is employed as a staff sergeant in the United States Army. He is stationed at Fort Drum, N.Y., and working as an instructor at the NCO Academy Warrior Leadership Course.
