DANVILLE - The 17-year-old female involved in the one-vehicle accident Sunday along Back Maitland Road was listed in fair condition Monday afternoon, according to a nursing supervisor at Geisinger Medical Center, Danville.
The female's name has yet to be released by authorities.
The female was ejected from her vehicle after hitting a large boulder on Back Maitland Road toward McClure Sunday afternoon, according to Pennsylvania State Police Lewistown.
Traveling along Back Maitland Road, the female's white four-door Kia Sephia veered to the right off the roadway hitting a large boulder in a small drainage ditch, according to police.
The female was transported by Fame EMS to Lewistown Hospital and she was then flown to Geisinger where she was initially listed in serious condition Sunday evening.
