How to safely enjoy your Christmas tree

Throughout the Juniata Valley the spirit of the holiday season can be seen from the decorations on the houses to the shopping frenzy at the malls. As we enjoy this festive season, it is important that our spirits are not dampened by the risk of fire. Christmas trees add a special touch to the holiday season; however, they can be a fire hazard.

Here are some helpful hints that can keep your tree bright and safe.

Once the holiday season is over and you need to do something with your tree, here are some suggestions.

Proper recycling of your old Christmas tree will help both the wildlife and environment.
