BURNHAM - Ronald Clyde "Rocky" Kifer, 54, of 204 Fourth Ave., Burnham, died at 9:25 p.m. Monday, Dec. 12, 2011, at Geisinger Medical Center in Danville.
He was born Dec. 12, 1957, in Huntingdon, the son of Clyde and Laura (Campbell) Kifer.
He married the former Jane Huey, who survives at her residence in Lewistown, on Nov. 15, 1986, at the Allensville Presbyterian Church.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by: his mother, of Huntingdon; two daughters, Laura L. and Rebecca J. Kifer, both of Lewistown; a sister, Tammy Kifer, of Huntingdon; nieces and nephews, Joshua Kifer, Robbie Crotsley, Amber Zimmerman, Jackie Kifer, Nikki Huey, Albert Huey, Krystin Huey, Emily Huey, Lydia Huey and Ashley Craford; mother-in-law, Mrs. Louise Huey, of Mill Creek; brother-in-law, Albert Huey and his wife, Diane, of Mount Union; and a sister-in-law, Gina Huey, of Mill Creek.
He was preceded in death by his father, a brother, Freddie Kifer, and a sister, Linda Kifer.
Ronald was educated in the Huntingdon public schools and was a 1975 graduate of Huntingdon Area High School.
He was a member of God's Missionary Church of Alexandria, enjoyed fishing and working on cars, and loved Mark Martin, NASCAR racing and the Steelers.
He retired on disability after working for Hawbaker Construction, State College, in bridge construction for many years. He also was employed at the Clarion Inn and Bing's Diner in Burnham.
A funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 17, 2011 at Cutright Funeral Homes, Smithfield Chapel, 313 Fairgrounds Road, Huntingdon, with Pastors Alvin and Solomon Shaffer officiating.
Family and friends will be received from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, Dec. 16, 2011 and from 9 a.m. until the time of the funeral service Saturday at the funeral home.
Interment will be in Juniata Memorial Park, Lewistown.
