Angela Starr Brown and Kyle Wayne Steffen, both of Apollo, are engaged to be married on Dec. 30 at Lily Manor in Mifflin.
She is the daughter of Pat and Leslie Stewart, of Reedsville, and Scott and Tamara Brown, of Tampa, Fla. She is a 2005 graduate of King High School in Tampa, Fla., and a 2009 graduate of the University of Florida with a Bachelor of Science degree in psychology. She will begin her master's studies in physician assistant at Seton Hill University in Greensburg, in January 2012.
He is the son of Alan and Janet Steffen, of Strodes Mills. He began his undergraduate studies at Shippensburg University, and enlisted in the U.S. Army in June 2006. He served five years in the infantry, where he was stationed in Vincenza, Italy, with deployment to Afghanistan. He is pursuing a dual Bachelor of Science degree in marketing and human resources at Seton Hill University in Greensburg.
