Alissa Murray, of Reedsville, and Chad Franklin, of McClure, are engaged to be married on Aug. 18, 2012, at Sacred Heart of Jesus Church in Lewistown.
She is the daughter of Dr. Michael and Mary Murray. She is a 2007 graduate of Indian Valley High School, and plans to graduate from the University of Pittsburgh in the summer of 2012, with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing.
He is the son of Charles and Debora Franklin, of McClure. He is a 2006 graduate of Indian Valley High School, and a 2009 graduate of Pennsylvania College of Technology. He is employed as an information specialist at Accuweather in State College.
