HUNTINGDON - An online registry has been established to assist residents, after Huntingdon County Commissioners declared a disaster emergency in three municipalities in the county.

Tuesday's flash flood left three boroughs: Mount Union, Three Springs and Saltillo a disaster and Adam Miller, Director of the Huntingdon County Emergency Management said, an online registry has been established to help members of the community identify properties that need to be assessed for their damages.

This registry will help direct damage assessment teams to areas needed, he said, so that "we can effectively direct assistance and apply for assistance for which our communities are eligible."

This registry is not an application for individual assistance and properties that have already been visited by the assessment teams need not to register.

Residents seeking assessment should register online at docs.google.com/spreadsheet/viewform?formkey=dHE2cUU2UHRWVGxIbHNNTG9qLTlLYlE6MA#gid=0.

The link can also be found on the department's webpage, huntingdoncounty.net/ema as well as its Facebook page.
