Hartley-Berkheimer

Megan Hartley, of State College, and Joshua Berkheimer, of New Columbia, were married on March 19, 2011, at the State College Assembly of God.

The bride is the daughter of Gary and Julie Hartley, of Port Matilda. The groom is the son of Dennis and Brenda Berkheimer of New Columbia.

Jessica Aikey, of State College, sister of the bride, was the matron of honor.

The best man was Aaron Guffey, of New Columbia.

Bridesmaids were Nicole Harshbarger, of Lewistown, and Sarah East, of Pottsville. The flower girl was Hannah Young, of Lewistown, cousin of the bride.

Groomsmen were Torrey Drum, of New Columbia, and Ryan Hartley, of Port Matilda. The ring bearer was Carter Beck, of Milton, nephew of groom. Ushers included Ryan Berkheimer, of Milton, and Jason Aikey, of State College.

The Rev. Paul Grabill performed the ceremony that also included Lisa Keller as soloist and Stefka Vladimirova as guest book attendant.

A reception followed in the church multi-purpose room.

The bride is a 2006 graduate of Mount Union Area High School and a 2010 graduate of Penn State University. She is employed as a therapeutic support staff at Community Services Group in State College.

The groom is a 2005 graduate of Milton High School and a 2009 graduate of Penn State University. He is employed as a IT Support Specialist at Penn State, University Park.

Following a wedding trip to the Poconos, they live in Port Matilda.
