Paul and Polli Specht, of Milroy, celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary.
The couple married on Aug. 28, 1961, in Hagerstown, Md.
Nearly 100 family and friends gathered, in their honor on July 31 at Penn State's Nittany Lion Inn. The party was hosted by their daughters Marcy Guido-Posey, of Carlisle; and Andrea Crawford, of Orlando, Fla. Daughter Tracy Smoker passed away in November 2009.

The couple is blessed with three grandsons and one granddaughter: Thomas Smoker, and wife Brandy, of Carlisle; Michael Guido, of Carlisle; Ryan Crawford, of Orlando, Fla.; and Riley Posey, of Carlisle.
Paul is retired from Ford New Holland. Polli is retired from Lewistown Hospital.
