Sherwood and Barbara Frankhouser of Belleville recently celebrated 50 years of marriage. They were married on Sept. 9, 1961 at the Allensville United Presbyterian Church.
They were honored on Aug. 6 at a surprise 50th anniversary party given by their children at the Seven Mountains Wine Cellars in Spring Mills. More than 50 guests were on hand to celebrate this wonderful occasion. The guests enjoyed delicious food provided by the Hammer Mill Restaurant and a beautiful cake provided by Cakes by Nicole.
The couple took a trip on their anniversary to Sharpsville to enjoy an overnight at Tara, a country inn.

They are the parents of two children: Jill Kiley and husband, Gene, of Coatesville and Marc and wife, Kathy, of Westfield, N.J.
They have six grandchildren: Megan and Erin Kauffman, Libby and Nick Kiley and Hannah and Katie Frankhouser.
