Amber Geedey, of Mifflintown, and Derek Whitesel, of Dallastown, were married on May 21, 2011 at Norlo Park in Fayetteville, Pennsylvania.
The bride is the daughter of Steven and Charlane Geedey of Mifflintown. The groom is the son of David Whitesel and Susan Norris, of Dallastown.
Brittany Matthews, of Enfield, N.C., was matron of honor. The best man was Andrew Lyter, of Dallastown.

Maid of honor was Jennie Baumgardner, of Hummelstown. Bridesmaids were Ashley Durland, of Lancaster; Amanda Benedict of Montoursville; and Amy Whitesel, of Dallastown, sister of the groom.
Groomsmen were Bryant Dettinger, of Jacobus; Michael Lyter, of Dallastown; and Hunter Geedey, of Mifflintown, brother of the bride.
The Rev. William Matthews performed the ceremony which also featured Michelle Hayworth, Bethany Goshorn and Brittany Matthews as the special music. Holly Sayre and Jane Lyter were readers, while Whitney Tatum and Tori Shearer were the guestbook attendants.
The bride is a 2004 graduate of Juniata High School and a 2009 graduate of Shippensburg University. She is currently attending graduate school at Shippensburg University and is also a substitute teacher in the Chambersburg Area School District.
The groom is a 2007 graduate of Dallastown Area High School and a 2011 graduate of Shippensburg University. He is a district executive for the Boy Scouts of America.
Following a honeymoon cruise to the Bahamas, they currently reside in Shippensburg.
