Melissa TerHorst and Nevin Sherlock were married on July 16, 2011, at the Penn Stater Conference Center Hotel, State College.
Holly Smith of Houston, Texas, was the maid of honor. Carl Sherlock of Kittanning, was the best man.
The couple will reside in the Washington, DC area where Nevin will be commissioned in the U.S. Navy as a nuclear engineer.

Nevin, who recently earned a PhD in materials science and engineering from Penn State University, is the son of Phillip and Susie Sherlock, of Port Matilda, and the grandson of Mary M. Sherlock, of Port Royal.
