Robert William and Arla Suzann (Cosgrove) Johnson, of Lewistown, celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary.
They were married on Oct. 20, 1960, at St. John's Lutheran Church, Lewistown, with the Rev. Samuel Wicker officiating.
The couple held a party in October 2010 at the Lewistown Elks Lodge 663 where 75-plus people attended.

They are the parents of Roxann Sheaffer, with her husband Lee, of Lewistown; Bobbie Sue Williams, with her husband Justin, of Burnham; and the late Tauni Suzette.
Their grandchildren are Braden, 7, Noah, 5, and the late Owen.
Robert retired from the Yellow Freight as a truck driver. He served in the Navy from 1959 to 1963.
Arla worked at Thrift Drug in Lewistown.
They are members of the St. John's Lutheran Church, Lewistown.
They attribute the success of their marriage to tolerance, understanding and love.
