Leighette Landis, of Mifflintown, and Gregory Sechrist, of McVeytown, are engaged to be married on Aug. 13, at Brown's United Methodist Church in McAlisterville.
She is the daughter of Bill and Cathy Landis, of Mifflintown. She is a 2003 graduate of East Juniata High School and a 2007 graduate of Mansfield University. She is employed as a teacher in the Juniata County School District.
He is the son of Albert and Glenda Sechrist, of McVeytown. He is a 2004 graduate of Mount Union High School and a 2008 graduate of Juniata College. He is employed as a manager at Weis Markets in Mifflintown.
