Nicole Peachey, of Mifflintown, and James Whistler, of Mifflintown, were married on July 31, 2010, at Cedar Grove Brethren in Christ Church in Mifflintown.
The bride is the daughter of Dennis and Cristine Peachey, of Mifflintown. The groom is the son of James Whistler, of Harrisburg and Lori Leach, of Thompsontown.
Kristin Peachey, sister of the bride, was maid of honor.
Bridesmaids were: Laura Eaton, sister of the groom, and Jessica Vogel, Nickie Slautterback and Joyce Kim, friends of the bride.
Groomsmen were Corey Imes, friend of the groom; Zac Eaton, brother-in-law of the groom; and Brandon Leach, Jordan Leach and Meiz Boozel, step-brothers of the groom.
The flower girls were Lily Adamire, niece of the groom and Rachel Whistler, cousin of the groom.
Pastor Warren Peachey, uncle of the bride, performed the ceremony that included Erika Musselman as pianist; Erica Adamire, sister of the groom, as guestbook attendant; Kasiah Robinson, friend of the bride, as program attendant; Allison and Lindsey Peachey, cousins of the bride, as bubble attendants; and Noel Peachey, aunt of the bride, as wedding coordinator.
A reception followed at the home of Lloyd and Clara Whistler, grandparents of the groom.
The bride is a 2006 graduate of Juniata High School and a 2008 graduate of HACC. She is employed as a phlebotomist with Holy Spirit Hospital.
The groom is a 2001 graduate of Juniata High School and is employed by Faulkner.
Following a trip to Florida, they reside outside of Mifflintown.
