Monica Barner, of Mifflintown, and Tim Haines, of McAlisterville, are engaged to be married on Oct. 22 at Good News Lutheran Brethren Church, McAlisterville.
She is the daughter of Daniel and Carol Barner, of Mifflintown. She is a 2005 graduate of Juniata High School, and a 2009 graduate of Susquehanna University. She is employed as a second grade teacher at Susquenita Elementary School in Duncannon.
He is the son of Annette Haines, of McAlisterville. He is a 2005 graduate of East Juniata High School and a 2009 graduate of Susquehanna University. He is employed as a treasury adjustment specialist at PHEAA in Harrisburg.
