Lauren M. Shoop and Frank C. Walters, both of Lewistown, are engaged to be married on Oct. 15 at Valley View Chapel, Belleville.
She is the daughter of Brenda Shoop, of Belleville, and the late David B. Shoop.
She is a 2009 graduate of Indian Valley High School and a 2010 graduate of the Mifflin-Juniata Career and Technology Center Practical Nursing Program. She is employed as a licensed practical nurse at Valley View Retirement Home, Belleville.
