Ashley Harshbarger, of Tyrone, and Chad Hoover, of Patton, were married on March 26, 2011, at St. Benedict Catholic Church in Carrolltown.
The bride is the daughter of Sheldon and Sheila Harshbarger, of Mifflintown, and Ann Harshbarger. The groom is the son of David and Cynthia Hoover, of Patton.
Shelly Harshbarger, sister of the bride, was maid of honor.

The best man was Christopher Farabaugh, of Ebensburg.
Bridesmaids were: Erin Hoover, sister of the groom, Patton; Melissa Berrier, State College; Ginger Moyer, Oley; Kelley McDonald, Womelsdorf. Cortney Hoover, Patton, sister of the groom, served as junior bridesmaid.
Ushers were: Timothy Lowmaster, Carrolltown; M. Dave Commons, Hastings; M. Wayne Weimert, Patton; and Cyrus Gehringer, New Tripoli.
Deacon Findbar Ramsak performed the ceremony that also included: Diane Glock as soloist; Denise Zalisnock as organist; Ayla Detwiler as a reader; Megan Brown as a reader; and Jenny Gehringer as guest book attendant.
A reception followed at the Carrolltown Fire Hall.
The bride is a 2006 graduate of Juniata High School and a 2010 graduate of the Pennsylvania State University. She is employed as a regional organization director for the Pennsylvania Farm Bureau.
The groom is a 2006 graduate of Cambria Heights High School and a 2010 graduate of the Pennsylvania State University. He is employed as a dairy farmer at Thousand Hill Dairy, of Patton, and Reniassance Nutrition, of Roaring Spring.
Following a wedding trip to Myrtle Beach, S.C., they reside in Tyrone.
