Alfred J. and Evelyn E. (Wynn) Barger, of McVeytown, recently celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary.
They were married on Feb. 4, 1951, at Mount Rock Evangelical Methodist Church, on Spring Street in Lewistown, by the Rev. Charles Miller.
They are the parents of the late Alfred P. "Bud" Barger, and Lori A. Baker, of Richfield.

They have two grandchildren, Michael P. Strawser and wife, Amanda, of Richfield, and Christi R. Strawser, of McAlisterville.
He retired from Standard Steel in 1992, and served in the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict from 1950 to 1952.
She worked at McCrory's, Viscose, and Scotty's Fashions, and is a homemaker.
They are members of Mount Rock Evangelical Methodist Church.
