Kaylie Marie Morrison, of Newton Hamilton, and Robert Eugene Wasson Jr., of Mt. Union, are engaged to be married on May 14 at the First United Methodist Church in Mount Union.
She is the daughter of Edward and Deborah Morrison, of Newton Hamilton. She is a 2006 graduate of Mount Union Area High School, and graduated magna cum laude from Shippensburg University in May 2010, earning a degree in elementary education. She is pursuing a master of education degree in special education, and is employed as a substitute teacher for surrounding school districts.
He is the son of John and Michele Smith, of Mount Union, and the late Robert Wasson Sr. He is a 2006 graduate of Mount Union Area High School and a 2008 graduate of York Technical University, Altoona. He is employed at Bonney Forge.
