Lewistown area United Methodist churches - community Christmas service with candlelight and Holy Communion at 7 p.m. Dec. 23 at the Brooklyn Fire Hall, Lewistown. Dress is casual.
St. Jude Catholic Church - Christmas Eve Children's Mass at 6:30 p.m., Spanish Mass at 8 p.m. Dec. 24; Christmas Morning Mass at 9:15 a.m. Dec. 25 at the church in Mifflintown.
Messiah Lutheran Church - family/youth service at 7 p.m. Dec. 24, prelude concert with Louis Lynch at 9:30 p.m., candlelight and Communion service at 10 p.m. at the church in Mifflintown.
Free Spring Church of the Brethren - 10 p.m. Dec. 24 service at the church in Mifflintown.
First Baptist Church - 6 p.m. Dec. 24 annual worship service with special music, songs and devotions at the church, state Route 35, Mifflintown.
Mount Bethel Church - 7 p.m. Dec. 24 candlelight service with Scripture readings, carol singing and Communion at the church in McClure.
Calvary Bible Church - 6:30 p.m. Dec. 24 candlelight service at the church in Lewistown.
Turning Point Church - 7 p.m. Dec. 24 service at the church, 607 E. Walnut St., Lewistown.
Oasis of Love Church - 6:30 p.m. Dec. 24 service at the church in Huntingdon. Come early for cookies and coffee.
Big Valley Bible Church - 7 p.m. Dec. 24 service at the church in Lumber City Reedsville.
Christ Church - special music at 6:30 p.m. with the service at 7 p.m. Dec. 24 at the church in Beaver Springs.
Kish Valley Grace Brethren Church - 6:30 p.m. live nativity and refreshments, 7 p.m. Dec. 24 indoor service at the Kish Valley Grace Brethren Church, 99 Taylor Drive, Reedsville. Service will include music by Joe and Wendy Bonson.
St. Mark's Lutheran Church - 6:30 p.m. special music, 7 p.m. Dec. 24 candlelight cantata service at the St. Mark's Lutheran Church, at the crossroads in Alfarata. The newly formed choir will be directed by Rick Cole.
Grove Memorial United Methodist Church - 7 p.m. Dec. 24 candlelight service at the church in Lewistown.
Maple Grove Mennonite Church - 7:00 p.m. Dec. 24 service and cantata "The Christmas Story in Candlelight Carols" as well as special music and congregational singing. The church is located at 115 Maple Grove Road, Belleville.
McVeytown Presbyterian Church - 7 p.m. Dec. 24 candlelight service, 9 a.m. Dec. 25 Christmas Day service at the church in McVeytown.
St. Mark's Lutheran Church - 7 p.m. Dec. 24 candlelight service at the church, located at the crossroads in Alfarata. A medley of Christmas music presented by Rick Cole and others will begin at 6:30 p.m.
Canceled - Bannerville Church of the Brethren Christmas Eve service, due to furnace malfunction.
