REEDSVILLE - David L. Fultz, 63, of 145 Creighton Lane, Reedsville, slipped peacefully into the presence of his Lord, Wednesday, Dec. 8, 2010.
Born March 11, 1947, in Milroy, he was a son of the late Blair S.L. and Dorothy P. (Goss) Fultz. He is survived by his wife, Patricia (Benn) Fultz, whom he married Oct. 30, 1976.
Also surviving are sons, Justin D. Fultz and wife Kathy, of Yeagertown, Adam C. Fultz, of Williamsburg, Va., Andrew C. Fultz and wife Glenda, of Port Royal; sisters, Shirley Mae Grassmyer and husband David, of Milroy, Martha E. Pecht and husband the Rev. Roland, of Milroy, Betty J. Strawser and husband Stanley, of McAlisterville, Audrey M. Henry and husband Terry, of Milroy; a brother, Allen A. Fultz and wife Barb, of Milroy; and grandchildren, Selena Fultz, Nickolas Myers, Taylor Myers, Chelsea Reid, Andrew Reid, Justin Reid and Makayla Reid.
He was preceded in death by two sisters, Anna L. Fultz, in 1939 and Helen J. Kauffman, in 2004.
He was a master mechanic, who owned and operated Fultz Small Engine Repair shop for 24 years. He was a member of Mountain View Mennonite Church, Reedsville. He was a very loving man who took great pride in his three sons, and his grandchildren were the light of his life. He was always ready to help anyone in need and gave freely of himself. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
There will be a viewing from 6 to 9 p.m., Saturday, Dec. 11, 2010, at the Mountain View Mennonite Church, Reedsville. A memorial service will be held on Sunday, Dec. 12, at 3 p.m., at the church, with Pastors Lester Diller and Ron Neff officiating.
