Alderfer-Phelps

Rachel Elizabeth Alderfer and Lee Daniel Phelps, both of Juneau, Alaska, were married on Jan. 1, 2010, at the Juneau Church of Christ.

The bride is the daughter of Kenneth and Lori Alderfer, of McAlisterville. The groom is the son of David and Diane Phelps, of Hood River, Ore.

Janelle Humbert, of Martinsburg, was the matron of honor.

The best man was Shawn Phelps, of Juneau, Alaska, brother of the groom.

The bridesmaid was Wendy Felix, of Tigard, Ore.

Groomsman was Eric Phelps, of Edmond, Okla., brother of the groom.

Ushers were Aaron Alderfer, of Mount Pleasant Mills, brother of the bride, and Paul Hatch, of Juneau, Alaska.

Minister Bill Williams, of Juneau, Alaska, performed the ceremony that also included: Sharon Hatch as pianist; Adrienne and Myriah Alderfer, of McAlisterville, sisters of the bride, and Sarah Zimmermanm of Wyoming, Del., as guestbook attendants.

The bride is a 2003 graduate of East Juniata High School, and a 2007 graduate of York College. She is employed as a registered nurse at Bartlett Regional Hospital of Juneau.

The groom is a 2000 graduate of Highland High School, in Idaho, and a 2004 graduate of Oklahoma Christian University, Oklahoma. He is employed by the Juneau Police Department.

Following a honeymoon in New Zealand, they live in Juneau, Alaska.
