Lepley-Shawver

Tara Lepley, of Beavertown, and Joseph Shawver, of McClure, were married on Sept. 19, 2009, at Paxtonville United Methodist Church in Paxtonville.

The bride is the daughter of Carey and Stacy Lepley, of Beavertown, and Danny and Terri Brooks, of Beaver Springs. The groom is the son of Donald and Debra Shawver, of McClure.

Megan Ettinger and Marissa Lepley, sister of the bride, both of Beaver Springs, served as maids of honor.

The best men were Matthew Wright and Nicholas Shawver, brother of the groom, both of McClure.

Bridesmaids were Elizabeth Henry, of Quarryville, and Joy Lewis, of Millersville.

The flower girl was Cortland Henry, of McClure.

Groomsmen were Marlin Henry, of McClure, cousin of the groom, and Sam Lok, of Lancaster.

The ring bearer was Zachary Lepley, of Beavertown, brother of the bride.

Pastor Bob Klingerman performed the ceremony that also included: Deanna Stock as vocalist; Colleen Ritter as organist; Abby Gill, cousin of the bride, as pianist; Karmyn and Kayla Gill, cousins of the bride, as guest book attendants; and Caitlyn Holland, sister of the bride, as acolyte.

A reception followed at Tedd's on the Hill in Shamokin Dam.

The bride is a 2005 graduate of Midd-West High School and a 2007 graduate of Lancaster General College of Nursing. She is employed as a registered nurse at Lancaster General Hospital.

The groom is a 2005 graduate of Midd-West High School and a 2009 graduate of Millersville University. He is employed as a medical technologist at Lancaster General Hospital.

Following a honeymoon in Jamaica, they reside in Lancaster.
