Together they raised Mae's two children, Mrs. Gerald (Linda) Stephenenson, of Texas, and Terry and his wife, Carolyn Wray, of Belltown. Bob is the father of Ronnie Gregg and wife, Johanna, of Alabama, and the late Bobbie Gregg.

They have six grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

He was employed at American Viscose and Standard Steel before retiring.

Mae worked at the Arrow Shirt Factory and Jaywood.

Bob likes watching sports, while Mae spends her time quilting. They enjoy flowers and gardening, fishing and camping locally and in Florida.

They attribute the success of their marriage to patience and compromising. They still attend Samuel's Church.
