Rebecca Varner and Brent Brubaker, both of McAlisterville, were married on Oct. 3, 2009, at First Baptist Church in Mifflintown.
The bride is the daughter of Dean and Jody Varner, of McAlisterville. The groom is the son of Daryl and Denise Brubaker, of McAlisterville.
The maid of honor was Katie Varner, of McAlisterville, sister of the bride.

Bridesmaids were Lauren Waite, of Richfield, sister of the groom, and Renee Dressler, of Cocolamus.
Groomsmen were David Waite of Richfield, and Paul Nace of Evendale.
The flower girl was Katelyn Fornwalt, of Mifflintown, cousin of the bride. The ring bearer was Cody Fornwalt, of Mifflintown, cousin of the bride.
Pastor Ronald Shupe performed the ceremony that also included: Fina Williams II and Jennifer Fornwalt as vocalists; Christen Barger as pianist; Alex Rowe as guest book attendant; and Jessica Thomas as bubble attendant.
A reception followed at Central Juniata EMS.
The bride is a 2005 graduate of East Juniata High School and a 2007 graduate of Harrisburg Area Community College. She is employed by First National Bank of Mifflintown.
The groom is a 2002 graduate of East Juniata High School. He is employed by Ar-Les Town View Farm.
Following their honeymoon in Virginia, the couple resides in McAlisterville.
