William H. ‘Bill’ Holesapple

BROWNSVILLE - William H. "Bill" Holesapple was born on April 25, 1951, in Brownsville.

He was the son of Violet G. (McCombs) Holesapple, of McAlisterville, and the late Rev. Dewey L. Holesapple Sr.

Along with mother, he is survived by his companion, Sylvia Curry; daughter, Tanya Holesapple and her companion Bryceton Scott III, of Brandon, Fla.; son, Justin Holesapple, of Fort Myers, Fla.; daughter, Heather and her companion Eric Jensen, of Colorado; grandchildren, Ayden and Tyler; his siblings, Dewey L. Holesapple Jr. and his wife, Conda, of Charlotte, N.C., Dawn Morder and her husband, Tom, of Shirleysburg, Cindy Benner and her husband, Gary, of Thompsontown, Rebecca Lidey and her husband, Archie, of Riverview, Fla., Phillip Holesapple and his wife, Beverly, of Van Wert, and Judy Paden and her husband, Bill, of Walnut.

Bill was predeceased by a son, William H. Holesapple Jr., on Oct. 3, 1993; and his father, Dewey L. Holesapple Sr., on Aug. 25, 2008.

Bill was a contractor, a father, a brother, a son, a grandfather and a great friend to many he met on the way.

Bill was always a hard working man and a jack-of-all-trades.

He was a U.S. Army veteran and served in Korea from 1968-72.

He went to be with the Lord on Sunday, Jan. 24, 2010.

Memorial services were held at 4 p.m. on Jan. 28, 2010, at Harvest Time Family Center.
