Jane K. Chamberlain

LEWISTOWN - Jane K. Chamberlain, formerly of N. Fort Myers, Fla. and Lewistown, passed away Dec. 31, 2009, in the Manor Care Sinking Spring.

Her husband, Dr. William E. Chamberlain, passed away Dec. 29, 1999.

Born in Murfreesboro, Tenn., she was the daughter of the late William B. and Vassar (Thompson) Knott.

Jane is survived by four daughters, Carole S. Chamberlain, of Silver Spring, Md., Michele C. (Chamberlain) Frear and her husband, William, of Spring Township, Mary E. (Chamberlain) Brito, of Boiling Springs, S.C., and Wanda M. (Chamberlain) Garnder and her husband, Harry, of Garnet Valley; one son, William M. Chamberlain, of Mechanicsburg; five grandchildren, Amy and Christine Frear, Billy Chamberlain and Harry and Mitchell Gardner; and one sister, Jean House, of Cleveland, Miss.

Services and burial are private at the convenience of the family.

Auman Funeral Home, Reading, is in charge of the arrangements.
